Meet the Team at Rhyndaston Alpacas

Welcome to our little corner of Pembrokeshire, where life moves at alpaca pace and there’s always time for a quiet moment in nature. At Rhyndaston Alpacas, we’re a family-run farm who love nothing more than sharing calm, curious alpacas with visitors and helping them slow down and connect with animals and the outdoors.

The Family Behind Rhyndaston Alpacas

Andrea at Rhyndaston Alpacas in Pembrokeshire

Andrea

That’s me! I do pretty much everything alpaca-related and any technical or paperwork bits on the farm. If it needs doing, I’m usually the one sorting it out, with a cuppa in hand and a herd of alpacas nearby.

Roger at Rhyndaston Alpacas, experienced farmer in Pembrokeshire

Roger

With over 50 years of farming experience, Roger is a font of knowledge and can turn his hand to just about anything. Calm, practical, and endlessly capable, he’s often found fixing, building, or sharing a lifetime of farming wisdom.

Kiran working at Rhyndaston Alpacas

Kiran

My eldest son. He has been helping out on the farm since he was a teenager. Quietly reliable and naturally calm, he loves working with animals and is never fazed by muddy boots, early mornings, or a curious alpaca at his side.

Izzy at Rhyndaston Alpacas with chicken

Izzy

Our bundle of energy! She loves all the animals more than helping out (don’t we all). You’ll catch her racing around the paddocks, squealing at a goat or coaxing a chicken into a cuddle.

Our Animals

Our alpacas each have their own little personalities — there’s Dougie, curious and a little cheeky, always sniffing out new friends; Blue, calm and gentle, the perfect companion for nervous first-time visitors; and Ebeneezer, a bundle of energy who’s convinced everyone is here to play. We could go on… you’ll meet them soon enough!

We’re also home to some very opinionated goats, clucking chickens, and our quietly patient Dutch Spotted sheep. Together, alongside all the other sheep, they make up a lively, friendly farm family — and they love welcoming new friends, big or small, for a gentle encounter or a guided walk.

What We Do

At Rhyndaston Alpacas, we offer calm, educational, and friendly experiences: alpaca walks, meet & greets, and wellbeing sessions. We also offer school and care home visits, and if you’re looking to grow your own herd, we’re a British Alpaca Society Trusted Seller with several alpacas available for sale. Everything we do is shaped around the animals’ pace and the chance for people to slow down, connect with nature, and leave with a smile.

Our online shop will soon feature a range of alpaca fibre products, perfect for gifts and keepsakes.

We hope you’ll come and meet us, the herd, and the rest of our farm family soon — whether you’re after a quiet walk, a fun encounter, or just some time to unwind among gentle animals.
